  1. The weight and size of carry-on bags are strictly restricted. Madrid terminal 1 departures mainly serve international flights to Non-Schengen countries. It operates such carriers as Lufthansa, Sky Team, Air Europe, Air France, Star Alliance, and Easyjet. It has 3 levels:

  • Ground level. The arrival area is located here with boarding gates A9-12.

Terminal 2 serves Madrid departure flights to Schengen countries. It consists of 2 levels:

Terminal 3 is a separate check-in area located in a detached building in the North Dock. It operates with E gates and consists of 3 levels:

  1. Arrivals and baggage claim area. You can reach Terminal 2 from this area. Shuttles and other transportation services are available there.
  2. Airport Barajas Madrid departures and check-in. Gates E67-E80 and E81-E82 receive passengers on board.
  3. The second level is meant for gates E81-E82.

Madrid Airport departures in Terminal 4

The terminal includes 2 buildings:

  • Terminal 4 renders services to domestic flights as well as international flights to countries of the Schengen Area.
  • Terminal 4S is meant for all international non-Schengen flights.

Both terminals maintain services for domestic and international flights. Madrid Barajas departures in Terminal 4 comprise 5 levels.

  1. Level 2. An underground train runs from here to terminal T4.
  2. Level 1. Apply for the services of a car rental company on this level.
  3. Ground level. Collect your luggage at the baggage reclaim hall 10 or 11 and then head for Customs.
  4. First level. The area leads to the boarding premises. From the first level, you can get to North gates J50-J51 and South gates J48-J49.

Sala VIP Cibeles. Terminal 1 (Inside security), Zones A, B, and C. The area is supplied with such amenities as free Wi-Fi access, a shower, beer and wine, snacks, and flight monitors.

Sala Puerta de Alcala. Terminal 2, Floor 2, near Boarding Gate D62. The visitors are provided with all necessary conveniences: shower, TV, conference room, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. The area is available on a 24-hour basis daily.

Sala VIP Puerta Del Sol. Terminal 3, Floor 1, next to Gate E 69. Facilities that are available in the area are as follows: air conditioning, Internet, shower, flight information, periodicals, Wi-Fi, and alcoholic drinks. Opening hours: 5 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily.

Neptuno Lounge. Terminal 4, Floor 2. It works daily on a 24-hour basis. The amenities that are available include showers, free Wi-Fi access, beverages, a flight information monitor with Madrid Airport live departures, and air-conditioning.

Premium Traveller Arrivals Lounge. Terminal 4, Level 1, Arrivals hall. The passengers can take all the advantages of the lounge, such as computer workstations, television, shower, VIP services, air-conditioning, non-alcoholic and stiff drinks.
